The South African Online Poker Championship (SAOPS): Summer Edition 2026 is officially locked in and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest online poker festivals Pokerbet has ever hosted.

From 25 February to 1 March 2026, South Africa’s poker community will battle it out across six massive championship events, competing for over R2.5 million in guaranteed total prizes, bragging rights, and an unforgettable international poker experience.

SAOPS Player Leaderboard is back!


Points will be awarded to all players who cash in each event of the series according to the Global Poker Index system. The 10 top ranked players will win Player of the Series prizes as per the below breakdown:


  1. First place: 10 x entries into the remaining 2026 Monthly Million and SAOPS Main Events

  2. Second Place: 5 x entries into the remaining 2026 Monthly Million and SAOPS Main Events

  3. Third Place: 3 x entries into the remaining 2026 Monthly Million and SAOPS Main Events

  4. 4th - 10th Place: Entry into the next Monthly Million tournament taking place on Pokerbet. The cards go up on 25 February 2026 and the action doesn’t stop until Summer Champions are crowned.
