SAOPS Winter Edition Summary

Just under R4,000,000 in prize money was won.

The SAOPS Winter Edition is officially a thing of the past, and what a truly phenomenal series it turned out to be.

Six epic events, six prize pools absolutely smashed, and almost R4,000,000 in prize money eventually won.

The biggest winner of the series was crowned on Sunday the 30th of July, as fishfinger battled till after 4 in the morning to be crowned our latest Main Event champion, winning a staggering R470,062.50 in the process.

Rainmaker, second for R271,687 and Rigggged, third for R176,812 closed out our top 3, both earning very impressive pay days for their efforts.

And while Jackietime didn't find any outright wins in the series, he did cash in four of the six events, to once again earn the coveted Player of the Series title, and the R100,000 cash prize that comes along with it.

This is truly a momentous achievement after Jackietime also won Player of the Series in April's inaugural SAOPS!
