With an enormous R10 million guaranteed across the series and buy-ins ranging from R2,500 to R75,000, the stage was set for a blockbuster finish to the year. Led from the front by Pokerbet CEO Darren Kramer (DK), it was truly a series to remember for Pokerbet staff and ambassadors alike.

Event 1: Welcome to Cape Town

The tour kicked off with the ever-popular Welcome to Cape Town event — a R500,000 GTD tournament with an R8,000 buy-in. After two Day 1 flights, the prize pool swelled to R873,600, and it was Pokerbet’s own Ariel Mazabow who stole the spotlight, claiming 1st place and a massive R244,160 payday.

DK wasn’t far behind, finishing 2nd for R153,755, a strong sign of what was to come.

Super High Roller: R3.4 Million Prize Pool

As the series gained momentum, focus shifted to the biggest buy-in tournament on the schedule — the Super High Roller. A staggering R3,402,000 prize pool was generated from 54 entries, and DK once again delivered, making the final table and collecting R450,000 for his 3rd-place finish.

High Roller: DK Strikes Gold

DK’s run only got hotter as the R50,000 High Roller kicked off. Another final table. Another deep run. This time, he sealed the deal, earning the lion’s share of an ICM chop — R649,000 — while Bradley Moore, a Vegas Pokerbet Alumni, claimed the trophy.

Hendon Mob Championship: Another Pokerbet Champion

Between the two High Roller events, Pokerbet staff member Sean Bloom captured the third edition of the Hendon Mob Championship Cape Town Million.

Battling through a field of 354 entries, Sean secured the trophy and R350,000 after an ICM deal among the final three players. As chip leader at the time, he claimed the biggest payout and a package that includes an entry into an overseas Hendon Mob Championship event.

Ambassador Highlights

Pokerbet ambassador Jonathan Hyman also delivered a standout performance. He cashed in the Main Event and secured an impressive R109,000 for his 2nd-place finish in the inaugural Battle of the Ages tournament.
